When you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday, you should come visit the Northern Cape. With nice warm summers and mild winters it is always a good moment to spend some time. When you are here you should not miss out on the impressive Kalahari Desert, or visit the Karoo Gariep Conservancy with its impressive variety of wildlife and birdlife. Furthermore it is recommendable to visit Kimberley’s Big Hole, this is an entirely man-made structure, the largest hand-dug structure excavation in the world out of the time diamonds were found here. This big gaping hole is 215 metres deep, and visitors can go underground in a recreation of a mine shaft of the period. But there are other things to do like canoeing on the Orange River, or just do absolutely nothing and just relax for a while. For everybody there is something to do in the Northern Cape.
